A wide ranging sale for the collector who follows curiosity rather than category. Sporting guns, militaria, scientific instruments, vintage fishing tackle, and a substantial run of Carolina coastal decoys.
The militaria section is anchored by a Confederate officer's presentation sword with documented Charleston provenance and an unopened field surgeon's kit from the Spanish American War. Scientific instruments include a brass Dollond refracting telescope and a set of surveyor's chains used in the original Beaufort County land grants.
Estimates in this sale are deliberately conservative. Lots are sold as found, and buyers are encouraged to inspect in person during the three day preview.

Viewing and preview
Every lot may be inspected in person before the sale. Preview runs the three days prior, from 10am to 5pm, and by appointment outside those hours. Condition reports are available on request for any lot.
How bidding works
