Two hundred lots of American and English furniture from the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, drawn from six estates and offered without reserve above the low estimate.
The sale is anchored by a Philadelphia Chippendale chest on chest retaining its original brasses, and a rare Charleston made rice bed attributed to the workshop of Thomas Elfe. English holdings include a George III mahogany breakfront bookcase and a suite of Regency dining chairs in remarkable original condition.
Julian Thorne has catalogued each lot personally. Condition reports, additional images, and shipping estimates are available before the sale for any lot on request.
